Thanks for using "Call using Vonage" Android app. I have been getting questions regularly from the users and sometimes same question from multiple users, to have a better communication and have a repository of FAQ and to provide user manual I am creating this blog. ReplyDeleteI have Vonage World Account. I want to know if I use this app and call, would it be free like I call from home or I will be charged like If I use Vonage Mobile?
ReplyDeleteIf you have Vonage world account and make international number using the app, vonage would charge as if you make call from your home (So call to India would be free since Vonage world account provides free calling to India). Note: Your cell minutes would count as if you make call from your cell phone to your vonage number.
ReplyDeleteI have vonage account, I use HTC incredible and verizon serice. Each time I call India it enables forwarding and than my home phone rings. Am I doing something wrong or is it the app?

ReplyDeleteHow does this app works? When I call any international number will it first ring my landline and then connect to international number? Is there a way that I can make the landline not ring because its in my house and others might get disturbed when I use that app as it will ring landline.

ReplyDeleteI can't use this application .... when I try to make an international call it says setting Vonage forward .............(after a while) ...couldn't be forward .........im tryind different phone numbers....and the same thing happens ....am I doing something wrong??????

ReplyDeleteThanks for the App. I recently downloaded it to my Evo on the Sprint network. Still trying to figure out how it works. As noted by other users here this app calls the home number and not the international number dialed. Probably a setting I overlooked. A suggestion if I could, FAQ or User Guide will be a great addition to this app. Thanks for the hard work.
